It all started with the art of Deer Stalking in the beautiful Dorset Countryside, carefully selecting deer for ethical and responsible harvest. From the venison, we made jerky and charcuterie products in our home kitchen, which we enjoyed so much, we thought we had to share. The Dorset Deer Shack was established in 2025 to promote and share wild venison as an organic, sustainable, and simply delicious game meat that more people should enjoy.
We offer jerky in various flavours (and new ones coming soon!), salami, chorizo, and meaty snack sticks. All are hand-made in small batches, oak-smoked, and dry-cured. We use only wild venison harvested in Dorset and locally produced ingredients from small suppliers.
We are continually experimenting with new flavours, products, and exciting new offerings to expand our range and make the most of wonderful wild Dorset venison, and introducing it to others.
